How it works, in three steps

  1. You create the organisation and the link

    Name, logo and colour. You choose the address, for example seatalia.com/v/quinta-do-sol, and you can add your rooms and your menu.

  2. Clients plan with your branding

    They open the link, make the seating plan and, if they want, share it with you. The event includes the Pass features, paid for by the venue.

  3. You receive the plan and the counts

    When the couple delivers, you get a dated copy. If they change anything afterwards, we notify you with the differences.

If you cancel, your clients’ events keep working with the Pass features, but without your branding, and the dashboard becomes read-only.

The data belongs to the couple

The couple owns the plan. The venue only sees what the couple decides to share, and Seatalia processes that data on your behalf, as a processor.

  • Only after they accept

    A venue never sees events that aren’t linked to its link, and only once the couple ticks the box to share.

  • Counts, not confidences

    You receive names, tables, meals and diet tags. Never seating rules or guests’ contact details.

  • Data processing agreement

    You accept the agreement (Article 28 of the GDPR) when you create the organisation. The data stays in the EU.

Frequently asked questions

Do my clients have to pay anything?

No. The venue pays. Events created through your link and shared with you get the Pass features: PDFs without a watermark, place cards, counts for the caterer and the “Find your seat” page.

What do I see of my clients’ events?

Only the events linked to your link that the couple agreed to share. You see the plan, the tables, the names, the meals and the diet tags. You never see seating rules, emails or phone numbers.

What if the couple changes the plan after delivering?

We keep a dated copy of every delivery. If the plan changes, you receive a notification with the differences, such as “+2 guests at table 5” or “−1 vegetarian”.

Can I have my own rooms and my own menu?

Yes. You can create template rooms from one of your own plans and set the meals on your menu. Couples start with them.

What happens if I cancel?

The dashboard becomes read-only and the link stops working. Your clients’ events keep working with the Pass features, but without your branding.

Can I use it as a planner, without a venue of my own?

Yes. Choose the planner type when you create the organisation: you create your own events and manage all your weddings in the same dashboard.
