1. What they are
Cookies are small files that the site stores in your browser. Local storage (localStorage and IndexedDB) serves the same purpose, but stays only on your device. We call both “cookies” for simplicity.
2. Essential (no consent needed)
Without these, the site does not work. They do not need your consent.

3. Statistics
No cookies and no consent: even if you decline, we measure use of the site and the editor with PostHog (EU instance) in memory. It stores nothing on your device, does not recognise you from one visit to the next and never receives names, emails, meals or diets.
With your consent: only after you click “Accept analytics” do we activate Google Analytics and the PostHog identifier. If you choose “Essential only”, we do not use them. You can change your choice at any time.

4. Other situations
Some services set their own data in specific situations:
- Payment: on the payment page, Stripe sets its own cookies for security and fraud prevention.
- Notifications: if you turn on browser notifications, we store a device identifier and install a service worker. You can turn them off in “My account”.
- Guest pages: the “Find your seat” and RSVP pages do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and do not load the statistics.
5. How to change your mind
You can change your choice whenever you like with the button below, or by clearing the site’s data in your browser. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site may stop working.
